Government 2.0 Camp Berlin 2010

30.09.2010 14:00
01.10.2010 17:00

Moving Germany towards Open Gov and Open Data: Dates: 30 September and 1 October 2010

Berlin: 4 August 2010

Planning of the Government 2.0 Camp Berlin 2010 is underway with lots of enthusiasm and energy.

  • Dates: 30 September and 1 October 2010
  • Location: Berlin
  • Twitter: Follow @Gov20CampB

The organizers comment that there has been little movement in Germany in terms of "Government 2.0". Thus, the stakeholders have many questions, for example:

  • How can I improve my communication with social media tools, services, collaboration, workflow, etc.?
  • What tools are available? What does it cost?
  • Who has thus already had experience?

The Government Camp 2.0 organisers want to help answer many of these questions, identify ways to provide experience and contacts, and not least, inspire and encourage new initiatives. The Government Camp 2.0 is a platform for experts and lay people, for geeks and analogues, who all share an interest in making public policy and management modern, interactive and transparent. Interested persons are invited to become involved in the organising committee.

The first day of the Camp is organised around workshops on different topics and discussing open government, open data and e-participation giving the participants the opportunity to network and share their ideas via lightning talks. Day 2 has a classic camp design.
